For majority of the countries, the Invitation letter from the Organizer and the Certificate of Host Institute will be sufficient to get the Conference Visa. Request you to check at your respective Embassy Visa site and apply for Visa immediately.

Participants from China are required to attach the following documents and apply for visa immediately :
1. Event Clearance Certificate of Nodal Ministry (uploaded)
2. Approval of Ministry of Home Affairs (uploaded)
3. Approval of Ministry of External Affairs (uploaded)
4. Invitation letter from Organizers (already sent, please request for a letter those who have not received)
5. Certificate of Host Institute (uploaded)

Conference participants should familiarize themselves with visa requirements well in advance of the conference. The ICEC26-ICMC 2016 conference organizers encourage you to apply for visa as early as possible, at least 3 months prior to the conference.

Foreign Nationals desirous of coming to India are required to possess a valid passport of their country and a valid Indian Visa.

Foreign passengers should ensure that they are in possession of valid Indian Visa before they start their journey to India except nationals of Nepal and Bhutan who do not require visa to enter India and nationals of Maldives who do not require visa for entry in India for a period up to 90 days (a separate Visa regime exists for diplomatic/official passport holders). The Consular Passport and Visa (CPV) Division of the Ministry of External Affairs is responsible for issuance of Indian visas to the foreign nationals for their visit for various purposes. This facility is granted through various Indian missions abroad.

Visa fees are non-refundable and subject to change without notice. The High Commission reserves the right on granting and deciding type/duration of visa irrespective of the fees tendered at the time of making application. Granting of Visa does not confer the right of entry to India and is subject to the discretion of the Immigration Authorities.

VISA Application can be submitted at the Government of India VISA issuance service at: www.indianvisaonline.gov.in

Procedure for obtaining Visa:

Visas can be applied for in person or by post at the Indian Embassy/High Commission of India based in the country from where the participant intends to depart for India.


Requirements for Visa:
Generally the following documents are required for obtaining Indian Visa. However, the requirement may vary from country to country.
• Duly completed application form
• Original passport valid for at least 6 months
• Visa fee
• Two passport size photographs
• Supporting documents, where necessary
• Invitation letter (will be sent by ICEC26-ICMC2016  Committee)
• Approval letter from the Ministry of External affairs (MEA): Organising Committee of ICEC26-ICMC2016 will obtain
   the approval from MEA and upload the same on the website as and when received.
• Approval letter from the Ministry of Home affairs(MHA): Organising Committee of ICEC26-ICMC2016 will obtain
   the approval from MHA and upload the same on the website as and when received.



We request the participants from China willing to attend the conference to fill-up the following Form and send it to us as soon as possible even if you are not 100 % sure of attending it. As per the existing procedure it takes little longer to get necessary clearance from the relevant ministry. Please download the Form (given below) fill it up and mail back to us at secretariat@icec26-icmc2016.org preferably by 15th November, 2015. This will enable us to initiate the process early. The passport information of the participants will only be used for getting the prior approval from the relevant ministry of Govt. of India. This approval will substantially reduce the visa processing time.
