Welcome Message

This is a biennial international conference on cryogenic engineering and cryogenics materials started by the International Cryogenic Engineering Committee and the International Cryogenic Material Committee. For some years, the host country has been alternating between Europe and Asia. It will be the second such conference going to be held in India. The only earlier conference (ICEC 18) held in India was at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in the year 2000. The present conference is being hosted jointly by the Indian Cryogenics Council (ICC) and the Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), in the historical city of New Delhi. Being the capital city, New Delhi is well connected by air with all the major cities across the globe.

The main objective of the ICEC 26 - ICMC 2016 conferences has been to bring together researchres from R&D institutions, universities and industries, to stimulate fruitful exchange and dissemination of information and ideas in the field of cryogenic engineering and materials. Futuristic trends in the ongoing large superconducting and cryogenic projects are expected to be the focus.
We sincerely hope that you will attend the conference and share your recent experiences in this fascinating field making this conference a success. We look forward to welcome you at New Delhi for the ICEC 26-ICMC 2016.
